Was going to buy an episode with John m Jackson,I know he can make any lowbrow show look great. But I didn't wnt2 waste 1.99 just incase he was in just2 scenes. Can't take a chance on THIS show. It's so t.v Land-ish. The lead man is not funny@all &the love between professional's cop's is very Street level pedestrian. Both character's are over acting. And I can't believe he has ROOKIE.I GUESS I SHLD TRY ACTING. Sorry J.M.Jackson.Im sure it's the best episode and it's highest rating epp ever. You shine

Dang, the nostalgia. I remember watching Castle on TV in my early teen years and I absolutely loved it! It was much more light-hearted than the other shows and I loved its unique premise. I was so excited when I found an awesome friend who watched it too! We were so sad when season 9 got canceled, and the final scene was a little jarring coming from the scene before it. But it is a charming show. Can't wait to see it again!

Episodes are hit or miss. The better ones are those where they stick to wit instead of drama. However each is very formulaic. Characters are overly stupid; Becket is annoying, which grows with every episode. The daughter and mom plots are forced, and tiring. I give it 2* just because the few good episodes hit the spot of light entertainment, avoiding being pretentious.
