Star Wars Rebels, set before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, tells the story of the growing Rebellion and their fight against the ruthless oppression of Empire. The brave and clever crew of the starship Ghost, including Ezra Bridger who is on a journey to become a Jedi, stands up against the evil Empire in a fight to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. Through dangerous rescue missions, thrilling space battles, and spectacular lightsaber duels – the bond of the rebel crew will be put to the test like never before.

Dave Filoni oversees this production, giving it the official George Lucas stamp of respect REQUIRED for a Star Wars venture, while also keeping in line with Disney's clear creative decisions. The result, is high quality storytelling that refuses to allow the classic minimalist stoicism of the original series to be ignored, while cleverly weaving exposition into the fold. Kids will love these more and more as the years go by and they grow to realise the layers of complexity implied by the exciting narrative

Ummmmm they only show stormtroopers getting killed theres no deaths of anyone without a mask to keep kid friendly the characters are annoying. The good scenes are when obi wan fights darth mall and ahsoka fights darth vader. Not mention inquisitors are useless and they use there lightsabers as helicopters soooooo...... what.

Siege of Lothal isn't included in vol 3 even though it's the first 2 episodes of that volume. Requires a seperate purchase which is annoying, if you don't realise it's supposed to be there you'll probably miss it, and it looks out of place as a seperate icon in my play movies list for one episode
