They only show what they think will appeal to viewers. My grandchild was missing while in the care of her "father" and as any mother would do, she confronted him wanting to know who had her daughter. The police were called and they made her out to be a criminal. One of the guys involved in the situation assaulted my daughter and the officers threatened to take her to jail?? Both the guys involved had been drinking and had weed in the car but the officers wanted to make a deal out of an unpaid seatbelt ticket to my daughter. Way to try and be cool for the cameras JPD!! Shame on live PD and JPD for taking a situation and making it worthy to appeal to viewers, after all if they handled it appropriately then it might be too boring and no one would watch the show. Maybe the jerk cop with the glasses should get some friends and quit taking his insecurities out on people because he feels powerful behind that badge.

That's 38 minutes of my life I will never get back. This show sucks & has NOTHING on COPS. The there was more commentary/play by play than live action. Not worth the watch

I love Live PD. It shows what law enforcement officials deal with on a daily basis (even though it is only on Friday and Saturday nights). COPS used to be my favorite show , but now it has dropped down to third. Live PD and the First 48 have taken over as my top two favorite shows. (Some days they are 1 and 2 respectively. Other days the First 48 is 1 and Live PD is 2)
