Truly gripping. Gillian Anderson delivers such a compelling performance, and the story is *so* tightly knit and well-paced. Many times I had to remind myself it's a work of fiction. Very few suspensions of disbelief that kept me fully engaged, and the pacing is incredible, each episode feels longer than the 48m run time- in a good way. There are not many television shows that feel like "page-turners", often times focusing on sub-plots/backstories. "The Fall" has one pace - nosebleed.

This glimpse into the macabre and fetishist mind of a killer, played by Dornan, and the logical and analytic mind of the Anderson character, hold the mind in fascination as it unfolds. There are also surprises along the way that make the heart beat a little faster. The backdrop of the beauty and culture of Belfast, Ireland brings a luster to this already smashing murder mystery. Well done and cheers!
