About this show

Proper, demure, sharp as a tack, Agatha Christie’s spinster sleuth is brilliantly portrayed by Geraldine McEwan (Series 1–3) and Julia McKenzie (Series 4). Each dons the trademark tweeds as if they were made for her; each is surrounded by lavish post-WWII period detail and stellar supporting casts.

Sent it back because it's blocking my phone. Almost as much as whoever hacked into it before with my old number, who might be in connection with some of the more disturbing cases that are not allowed to be discussed pending further investigation by due process of law in court.

I first caught onto this modern version of Miss Marple series when I first watched the episode Nemesis on BBC channel starring Dan Stevens on TV and since then wanted to watch more of the show since I recognize a lot of the British actors/actresses. Geraldine McEwan played a really good Miss Marple and I got used to her for the first couple episodes but as the series progress, it was still good with Julia McKenzie either way. I really enjoyed this version and so thrilled to watch the rest of the series.
