About this show

Set in 1990-something, Schooled is a spinoff of The Goldbergs and follows the hilarious faculty of William Penn Academy, led by new music teacher and WP graduate Lainey Lewis (AJ Michalka), Principal Glascott (Tim Meadows), Coach Mellor (Bryan Callen) and young, enthusiastic super-teacher Charlie Brown or CB for short (Brett Dier). Despite their eccentricities and crazy personal lives, these teachers are heroes to their students.

Kind of disappointed. The show jumps all over the years ranging from early to late 90's, mixing up timelines of iconic things in the past that dont flow with a timeline of the current time in the show. At least in The Goldberg's, they went more in order and did not jump all around time. The most recent episode jumps to 1999! Might as well go ahead on to 2000's next.

I tried to watch this and didn't finish it. Since hulu only had the 1st episode of season 2, I missed all of season 1 and i doubt if I had seen it, my opinion would be different. Like goldbergs they're not real accurate with pop culture references as another reviewer said. I normally let it slide, but referencing 'who let the dogs out?' a 2000's song really? So much for being set in the 90s. It was boring and unfunny. My whole family was bored with it and decided to watch something else.
