Christmas is fast approaching and it is the last chance for the children to post their letters to Santa. Percy is collecting the mail but, with lots of snow on the rails, it isn't easy to get through. Philip assumes that Toby is a diesel boxcab just like him. Convinced that they will become best friends, Philip rushes up to introduce himself, but Toby finds him rather overwhelming. Philip is very persistent and gets upset when he thinks Toby doesn't like him, but with a little help he eventually learns that you can be friends with someone who doesn't like the same things you like. 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

When Gordon is late to pull the Express the Fat Controller gives it to Henry instead. Because Gordon has said how difficult his work is, Henry doubts he's up to the job but more than proves himself and all the passengers love him. Gordon is left to take over Henry's work, which he thinks is beneath him, and he ends up going on strike. 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

Diesel likes to appear rough and tough but, when Thomas finds him lovingly fussing over some baby ducklings, he threatens to tell everyone that Diesel is really a big softie. Diesel is horrified and promises to be nice to everyone in exchange for Thomas not telling anyone. All the engines are pleasantly surprised when Diesel starts being polite and friendly, but just how long can he keep it up? 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

When a new brake van called Bradford arrives, Thomas is delighted as Bradford is excellent at keeping The Troublesome Trucks under control. But Bradford is a real stickler for the rules and Thomas soon tires of his petty regulations. Eventually Thomas decides to go off without a brake van, a reckless and dangerous move, which ends up with Thomas hurtling out of control down Gordon's Hill. 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

Samson boasts proudly that he has been given a very special job. But when he learns that Thomas has been given the same job, he tries to find another way to prove how important he is. So he decides to take more trucks than he should, insisting that this will save time. But with so many heavy trucks Samson can't get over Gordon's Hill and has to ask Thomas to help him, making Thomas late too. 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

Judy and Jerome, the breakdown train, have been stuck at Knapford Yard for some time. Ryan hears their sad story and offers to give them a change of scenery. Soon they are on a tour around the island. Meanwhile, Daisy has a run in with a bull and is derailed but, when Thomas goes looking for the breakdown train, it is nowhere to be found! 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

Daisy is working on Thomas' branch line while he is at the quarry. Daisy can carry passengers without having to pull any coaches and so Annie and Clarabel are left behind. Daisy takes every opportunity to remind Annie and Clarabel that they are not needed. Heavy snow has arrived on the Island of Sodor. Donald and Douglas are coupled back-to-back, wearing their snowploughs. After squabbling about which line they should clear first, Donald pulls away hard, snapping a damaged coupling and moving off with Douglas' tender. One day James is showing off so much that the passengers complain and the Fat Controller takes his coaches away. James starts to pout and is still pouting the next morning. After some time in his shed, James apologises but when he discovers that his job is to pull waste trucks, he starts sulking again! 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

A storm is approaching and Skiff is helping everyone to prepare. When Skiff's anchor rope snaps, his sail unfurls and a terrified Skiff gets blown down the track, right into a tree that lightning has brought down across the branchline! 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

When the Fat Controller gives Daisy the job of taking some special passengers to Harwick, she gets carried away with the responsibility. Deciding that her passengers are very special, she does not stop for children with sticky ice lollies and refuses to pull a dusty baggage truck – not realising how important the baggage is! 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

Max and Monty are mucking about at the building site. They race against other vehicles to see who can get their work done quickest. Rather than driving all the way to the dump, Max and Monty chuck all their building debris over a wall… not realising that it is blocking Thomas's branch line! 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

Connor is a fast engine and always bang on time! But one day Connor is shocked when one of his coupling rods breaks. He's never broken down before and decides that he must have been going too fast. Even after he is repaired, he is too worried to go fast and travels so slow that Thomas overtakes him. Finally it is Stephen who convinces Connor that he really does want to go fast again.

James is delighted to be picked to take the Mayor and the Fat Controller to a ball in Vicarstown. But, at the end of the day, is horrified when his guard finds a tiny scratch on his paintwork! He insists on being repainted, thinking the windy weather will dry him as he zooms along, but leaves and twigs stick to his wet paint instead!

It's the hottest day of the year on Sodor and the sun is causing the tracks to buckle and bend. A dropped bottle from Whiff's rubbish trucks causes a fire and Belle and Flynn race to the rescue. Eventually an idea flies in to Thomas' funnel which can stop the tracks buckling again! 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

One day two visitors come to the Island of Sodor to take pictures of interesting engines. When they don’t say hello and drive through a puddle splashing Bert with muddy water, he decides they are very rude. He decides to get his own back by using his steam to make water rain down on them from the wet branches, but the Small Controller is not very happy with him. When Duck's driver boils an egg in his whistle it leaves Duck making a very funny sound. Mike insists that an engine that can't whistle is not a proper engine. Later, Mike loses his temper and blows his own whistle cap right off. Now Mike can't whistle properly and he's not very happy about it! 2017 Gullane (Thomas) Limited

The three miniature engines are the smallest on the Island of Sodor. People love to come to see them, but don’t seem to take them seriously or Really Useful. When it is time for the sheep’s wool to be delivered to market, the Small Controller says it is the miniature engines’ chance to prove how useful they really are.
