In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe the Neighbors can’t stop being curious. Puppet Daniel Tiger is curious about what it would be like to live in a truck instead of a clock. The Neighbors help him transform his home into a truck.

Mister Rogers visits Tom O’Horgan who shows viewers his collection of unusual musical instruments. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe all Neighbors from Westwood, Southwood, and Northwood join in to celebrate a Bass Violin Festival. Mister Rogers plays the piano and shows how he might play if he feels happy or if he feels angry.
5 Families: A Visit to the Pediatrician

Mister Rogers visits pediatrician Dr. Jane Breck, who shows young viewers what might happen during a child’s routine checkup. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Cousin Mary Owl is planning a cousin reunion. Everyone who is a cousin or has a cousin is invited to attend.
6 Families: Mister Rogers Talks About Adoption

Mister Rogers talks about how children are curious about families that are formed by adoption and talks about his family’s adoption of his own sister. He shows a film about different families in his Neighborhood. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, there’s lots of talk about adoption when Ana wonders if she was adopted.
7 Dress Up: Trying on Different Roles

Mister Rogers plays dress-up with wigs and glasses, and says that, “You can get dressed up in the fanciest of things, but the best style comes from inside, and it often spreads on your face with a smile.” He shows a video about how people make sneakers. In Make-Believe everyone is looking for the King’s lost crown.
8 Caring for the Environment: A Visit to a Recycling Center

Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely sort their garbage and take it to a recycling center to see what happens to discarded bags, bottles and cans. In Make-Believe there are garbage cans everywhere, and all the dumps are full. Mister Rogers talks about the good feelings we get from taking care of others.
9 Up and Down: Elevators and Escalators

Mister Rogers shows some toy machines, and he rides on real ones that lift people and cars. There’s even a hydraulic platform delivered by Mr. McFeely in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. It doesn’t matter if you have fancy toys or simple toys or just your imagination, your real friends are the ones who like you for who you are – not for what you have.
