About this show

Set in 1814, Taboo follows James Keziah Delaney, a man who has been to the ends of the earth and comes back irrevocably changed. Outstanding gripping full on no bars held drama of intrigue, dark threatening, historical accuracy portrayed in a strangely 'un-BBC liguistic like' manner that will have you craving for the following episode..a masterpiece from every level of a very clever 'Dark Drama'☆☆☆☆☆

Tom Hardy is outstanding in this gloriously sumptuous period drama. It draws you in from the outset , and grips you tight. The best show on the BBC right now. Superb!

Tom Hardy is becoming a national treasure.Taboo is outstanding. Great story, great acting from all of the cast. Can't wait for series two.
