1 Lazarus Rising
9/18/08
In the fourth season premiere, it's been four months since Dean was dragged away by the hounds of Hell, the result of a deal he made with the Crossroads Demon in exchange for his brother's life. Now, Dean wakes up in a pine box. He's been freed from Hell, but he doesn't know how or why. He has a joyful reunion with Sam and fellow demon hunter Bobby (recurring guest star JIM BEAVER), but it isn't long before the three start to really wonder what exactly pulled Dean from Hell -- and what it will want in return.
2 Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester
9/25/08
Sam and Dean are stunned when the spirits of Meg (recurring guest star NIKKI AYCOX - "Cold Case," "Ed") and Agent Henricksen (recurring guest star C. MALIK WHITFIELD - "The Guardian") appear and accuse the Winchesters of failing them. Although rattled, the brothers must pull together to save Bobby (recurring guest star JIM BEAVER), who is too crippled with guilt to fight off the angry ghosts of the young children he couldn't save.
3 In the Beginning

Dean is transported back in time and is shocked when he lands in Lawrence, Kansas. However, that shock turns to amazement after he runs into a young John Winchester (guest star MATTHEW COHEN - "South of Nowhere," "Medium") and Mary (guest star AMY GUMENICK - "Greek") who have just fallen in love. Dean isn't sure why he was sent back so he begins to enjoy the time with his parents and newfound grandfather (guest star MITCH PILEGGI - "The X-Files," "Stargate: Atlantis"), who may be hiding a secret that is key to Sam and Dean's entire predicament.

Sam and Dean find that a family man (guest star DAMEON CLARK - "24," "Prison Break," "Dragon Ball Z" series), is turning into a flesh-eating monster, and argue about killing him.
5 Monster Movie
10/16/08
Shown entirely in black and white, Dean and Sam investigate several murders at Oktoberfest. The first victim was found with bite marks on her neck, much like a vampire would leave, while the second victim has wounds that look like a werewolf attack. After a mummy rises from his crypt, Dean determines that a shape-shifter demon is terrorizing the town as iconic monsters from the old Hollywood movies.
6 Yellow Fever
10/23/08
Dean is infected with an illness that starts as anxiety, but moves to full-blown terror that stops the heart. Sam and Bobby (JIM BEAVER) must find the root before Dean dies.
7 It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester
10/30/08
The brothers deduce a witch is sacrificing people to summon a dangerous demon. ROBERT WISDOM ("The Wire," "Prison Break") guest stars as Uriel, a specialist angel.
8 Wishful Thinking
11/6/08
Sam and Dean investigate a small town where a wishing well works so well that a teddy bear comes to life, someone wins the lottery and the town geek gets a hot girlfriend. The brothers realize, however, that while everyone is happy now, the end result could be disastrous.
9 I Know What You Did Last Summer

However, they find out that John was, indeed, the boy's father and Dean is infuriated when he hears Adam tell of his "normal" upbringing.
20 The Rapture
4/30/09
Castiel (recurring guest star MISHA COLLINS) appears to Dean in a dream and says he has something important to tell him but they need to meet somewhere private. Totally addictive and entertaining..a rare show that has wicked eye candy FOR THE LADIES, or some guys! The characters Jensen and Jared carved out over the last year's are lovable and easily have become like people I feel a familial connection to...the fun and hilarity thrown in for comic relief makes this show one of a kind! If you can take it for what it is .AN ENTERTAINMENT TOOL, you will become a die hard fan in no time, along with falling head over heels in love with one or the other or maybe all i(your that type)of the lovely men that make this show so much fun.Only MAJOR downside, stupid Netflix discontinued carrying it for some reason..hoping with enough fan pressure it will be returned with all seasons intact. If your an old, new or just thinking about it fan of the program, help put Supernatural back on Netflix where it belongs by contacting Netflix in whichever way possible you can.Did I mention the top notch sweet-ass vintage car they pretty much live in in every episode? Yet another reason to love this truly underrated series.Unfortunately season 15 will be the last so iv heard, so we must give Thanx for the cast giving us some of the best years of ours and their lives

"The road to Hell is paved with good intentions", sometimes literally. If you found "Rosemary's Baby" from 1968 intriguing and have aver liked a detective show or two, there's a good chance you'll like this roller coaster of an action drama with heart. There's kind of a 50th anniversary homage to that classic in the story arc for Season 12 and 13. I don't watch horror films and I don't find this too scary. It's not too late to start watching. "Supernatural" isn't for young children but it's something parents could watch with older kids since they'd probably get many references. You'll see good acting, chemistry, humour, directing, editing, writing, etc. While they take the quality of the show seriously, look at behind the scenes at gag reels and convention videos and you'll see some extremely funny stuff. You can tell the actors and crew enjoy time together and are fans of the show themselves. Everyone who works on the show or watches it is considered part of the "Supernatural Family" community. Certain video streaming services may edit episodes to make them shorter, so watching ones from Google Play should be better. 4.5 stars out of 5.
