I absolutely love this show. If you want something that's like a modern X-Files, this should scratch your itch. Fringe has more character development than most crime dramas, and John Noble's performance in particular is great. Shame it ended early and had to rush to wrap things up, but I still loved how that was done.

This is my favourite TV series of all time. Right from the first episode, everything matters. Unlike so many series before it that start with a great idea but ultimately lose their way, or fail to follow through on the promise at the beginning, Fringe tells an intricately woven story from beginning to end without ever losing sight of what it is and who it's written for. There's no filler, no change of direction or re-imagining of the story, the plot just keeps building on itself in a very satisfying way. The characters and their dynamics make the show. If you try the first episode and are intrigued, then keep going... I guarantee you will be hooked!

I'm in love with this show! Fringe features powerful and clever writing and brilliant acting. It touches the realm of fringe science in new ways and makes you want to believe it's real. There are a lot of intricate details in a well-spun series-long plot with season sub-plots along the way. A must see!
