About this show

Living in the same universe as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.

I'm going against the grain but this was a big disappointment. If you're a fan of the Walking Dead this does not live up to the standard set. Cliché characters galore, irrational scripts, unlikable characters, on and on I could go. It's a soap opera with a hint of Zombie.

Not bad it has a good story line to work with but its a bit slow.The walking dead is better.That is if season seven ever gets here talk about SLOW. the main problem is every time something major happens it seems to fizzle out into nothing and off we go again.The story needs a bit more direction.

All the characters except the mexican man and maybe the female teacher are cool. Everyone else sucks, but that is just my opinion because as i watched all of fear the walking dead, i couldn't help but compare it to walking dead and walking dead is FAR, FAR better than fear the walking dead
