Six months after leaving Chicago, Father Tomas continues his training to become an exorcist under the watchful eye of his partner Marcus Keane. Their travels lead them to a troubled young woman in rural Montana, where their investigation puts them in the crosshairs of her extended family. But as Tomas’ skills continue to grow, Marcus begins to worry that his apprentice is taking unnecessary risks. The action then switches to a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle, where Andy Kim runs a group home for at-risk foster children, whose lives are disrupted when the state sends a social worker to determine whether the foster home should be closed. Little do they know the true danger is yet to come: a malevolent presence that has set its sights upon one of the children in Andy's care. Evil has a new home.

Meanwhile, Marcus and Tomas travel to Seattle where they encounter a new possession case, discovering a young girl who has been targeted by a force of pure evil. Father Bennett tracks down a rogue church operative named Mouse (Zuleikha Robinson, “Still Star-Crossed,” “The Following”) who is waging a one-woman crusade against the demonic conspiracy.

Seeing an classic cult movie remade into a TV series, would label trouble but I like to give every new show the benefit of the doubt & give it a go. Plus I heard Ben Daniels was in it! I let a few episodes collect in my sky+ planner, then when I had nothing watch, I drove into a 3 episode binge! I was glued to the screen & every episode after I watched live, just couldn't wait! I can't pick out any flaws, but if u r not a fan of this genre u might not like it, it's quite graphic at times.

I've been watching The Exorcist from the beginning of the first series. It's very well written. Casting Ben Daniels and Alphonse Herrera as the two leading priests, was a master stroke of ingenuity. Onscreen, the two of them have an easy chemistry which, although we know better, suggests they have been friends since the dawn of time itself. As a Brit myself, I must thank whomever is responsible, for allowing Ben Daniels to keep his English Midlands voice/accent. I think it adds a certain authenticity to the proceedings. After all, not everyone who speaks English is an American. If you liked The Exorcist film, I urge you to look at the first series of The Exorcist. It is not a 're-make' of the film. It should delight, if not frighten you. Big round of applause for everyone involved.

I ordered The Exorcist TV series season 1 for £17.99. Only three episodes have been made available. None have been made available since the start of October meaning that despite six or seven episodes having aired on television only three have been made available to Google Play customers. Some people have commented on this in the reviews section but so far there has been no explanation provided by Google as to why there is a delay or how long we have to wait for the next episode? All six episodes that have been aired in the United States are available on iTunes but not Google Play. Is there going to be any communication from Google as to what is going on?
