About this show

Ash heads toward his next challenge: the far-off Hoenn region. While he must say goodbye to old friends, he makes new ones like May, a Trainer just starting out on her Pokémon journey. As they venture through the region, a shadow looms over them, and it’s not just that of Mt. Chimney—both Team Magma and Team Aqua put their nebulous plans into action, with our heroes caught in the middle! When they’re not foiling evil schemes, Ash and May chase their personal goals, with Ash battling for Gym badges and May for Contest Ribbons. Will Ash earn eight Gym badges to gain entry into the Hoenn League, and will May win enough Ribbons to take part in the Grand Festival?

The Hoenn region is actually the worst one. This is the season of Pokémon that actually completely alienated me as a child. Max is absolutely annoying, May does not even compare with Misty, the humor becomes dry, and the whole series just gives you the hint that it will never change its boring formula: Ash and gang discovers new Pokémon, there is some conflict around it, Team Rocket interfere but they always end up blasting off again, Ash saves the day.

I see no other people have wanted to come out and point this out but you just taking advantage of how many people like Pokemon and how much people will pay it actually watch it and all because they probably missed it when they were a kid because they didn't know about it that's sure true about me I never even heard the Pokemon till I was 9 years old and it's been on for 20 years that's ten more years than I've been born once again you're just taking advantage of the fact that people will pay any amount to watch Pokemon unless there a Pokemon hater if you think Disney Company someone told me to do this on a dare or somebody made me do this or paid me to do it but this is actually what I feel like so if you don't make this free I can guarantee that you're taking advantage of your fans

It's nice to see more of the series appearing on Google Play, but unfortunately this is also the arc where arguably the anime started going downhill (doesn't help that most of the characters' voice actors changed).
