About this show

Ninety-seven years ago, Earth was devastated by a nuclear apocalypse, with the only survivors being the inhabitants of orbiting space stations at the time. Three generations later, resources are running out. Taking ruthless steps to ensure their future, a group of 100 juvenile prisoners are exiled to the Earth’s surface to test whether it’s habitable. No one has set foot on the planet until now.

The first season was really interesting but they strayed from the characters story lines in the books. The whole Clarke and Alexis is nit a thing in the books, it's Clarke being with Ballamy. So I really dislike the whole romance between Clarke and Alexis. I was also disappointed with SPOLIER..... Lincoln death, so premature and unnecessary. I hate when writers for tv shows/films, to create emotional drama/scenes.

Just watched all of series on my tablet,but did find it very violent in a lot of it,but like they say there is no laws on earth so thats what would happen to them,now will have to wait to download next series.my fave characters were Finn,raven and brave Jasper Jordan.I also just finished reading the books and the series is very different as a few characters don't match the series or story line.you watch more to see what happens next.the 2nd series is a lot more gory and a bit to graphic.still pretty good to watch.just finished watching series 2 and what an odd ending,my fave characters by the end of this series is still jasper and bellamy is cool and octavia and Lincoln,they are awesome.

The show is enjoyable but predictable. There was a particular story arc that looked potentially quite interesting that was snuffed out in a heartbeat which kind of seemed odd and the very premise of the show is undermined by what happens throughout season one particularly at the end. I'm not fussy on my TV though, I want escapism and this provides it.
