I lived in Orlando and there are some Asians there, as well as many, many Hispanics and some Caribbeans. The show makes it seem like Orlando is "all white." There are a lot of "cookie cutter" housing developments....Not sure about the rollerblading though. The generously illuminated "Food For All" grocery store in the first episode cracked me up. Something like that would be found in Kisisimmee, closer to Disney World. Surprised it didn't have a searchlight out front!

I LOVE this show . Probably the only true "family show " , meaning the type of show you can put on when your 70 year old mother in law's over . That's a feat these days let me tell you! Pretty much every thing out nowadays is raunchy in some way ,even if they have to be covert about it , but sadly , most are just BLATANTLY debasing potty humor /sexual innuendo etc etc. Well not FOTB ,good clean fun -WITH THE ILLEST HIPHOP EVER ON A SHOW!

Surprised to see just how funny this show is. Constance Wu is a breakout star IMHO playing Mrs. Huang. Yes a mostly all-Asian cast is a distinction, but the show definitely has solid writing staff and delivers great jokes. Hope it gets picked up for the whole season and sustains the comedy.
