101 100th Episode Sneak Peek
3/25/13
Cartoon Network's Emmy award-winning animated original, Regular Show, has reached the coveted 100th episode milestone. We sat down with J.G. Quintel, the show's creator and voice of Mordecai, and crew to talk about their journey and a look at the 100th episode.

About this show

Mordecai - a sarcastic blue jay, and Rigby - a somewhat responsible raccoon, are best friends. They even work together at a park owned by Pops, a big lollipop-headed guy. Which seems normal enough. They've got a cranky gumball machine for a boss and they work alongside a Zen-like yeti named Skips. Yep. Everything is as regular as can be.

Plot: 1.) Mordecai and Rigby hanging out, everything's good. 2.) Benson tells them to do a task and to stop slacking off, to which Mordecai and Rigby complain. 3.) Mordecai and Rigby consistently do something that Skips tells them not to do or they will suffer random consequences. 4.) The sky turns red and a huge monster appears and starts destroying the park. 5.) Mordecai and Rigby save the day by doing what they were supposed to do in the beginning. 6.) Benson makes the last "witty" remark.

That's how a friend and I describe Regular Show. Every episode starts off with something mundane, then it's like the writers tried to see what insane direction they could take the plot. It's a lot like when your friend has a story and starts to say, "This one time..." Simple and straightforward episodes that always keep you wondering what crazy stuff is gonna happen. Love it!
