About this show

Star Wars Rebels, set before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, tells the story of the growing Rebellion and their fight against the ruthless oppression of Empire. The brave and clever crew of the starship Ghost, including Ezra Bridger who is on a journey to become a Jedi, stands up against the evil Empire in a fight to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. Through dangerous rescue missions, thrilling space battles, and spectacular lightsaber duels – the bond of the rebel crew will be put to the test like never before.

Unfortunately this is NOT the complete series. The series pilot/opener "Spark of Rebellion" as well as the bridge to season 2 "The Siege of Lothal" (technically S2e01&02) are not included in the complete series offered (or elsewhere on Google play by the look of things). As these episodes are essential to the series, it's a shame they are currently unavailable on Google Play (especially as missing component of this great series/set). I have raised my concerns with Google a couple of times only to be met with a "we'll look into it" response and notify you when it has been updated. None to date. Moreover, being a strong proponent of both Google Play & Android, it's disheartening that rival digital providers (such as Apple's itunes) offer complete compilations containing these missing episodes and therefore clearly illustrate Google's inadequate and incomplete set of episodes for arguably one of, if not the best, Star Wars animated series. Maybe this review might spark some action...but sadly I fear it will be become just another pebble being thrown at a very large wall. Perhaps I'll be proved wrong....here's hoping sooner than later. Series=5 Stars Incomplete Set=1 Star

I really love this show, it brings back the joy of the first time I watched Star Wars a new hope, but I really find the lack of the first episode of the first season; disturbing. If it is available separate (like the money grabbing second season, which: episode 1 3.99, fist half 14.99 second half 14.99), I cannot find it . I feel bad not giving it a 5 star review cause it is worth it. but as my review implies I am a little disappointed.

Great show but where is the pilot called "spark of rebellion". I refuse to purchase season 1 when it's not included and not even available anywhere else on Google play to purchase separately. It's what explains everything on how they meet where as season 1 with the 13 episodes jumps right into everyone's already allies. It's what captivated me into this whole show. Frustrating..... *Update* purchased spark of rebellion on iTunes as it's available there.
