It's hour 42 of the season and every captain feels the pressure. The Alaskan Department of Fish and Game announces an early closure to the season. Each boat has 24 hours to pull the pots they have in the water out.

It's been a little over 12 hours since the Opelio crab season opened, and the Bering Sea has already claimed 6 lives. Despite these losses, the rest of the fleet begins to pull the pots and hopes are high. For the first time this season, the seas are calm

It's crab season on the Bering Sea. Unseasonably warm weather and calm seas have contributed to record catches for the fleet. Capt. Sig Hansen and crew landed on the crab early and cranked through their gear filling two of the boat's three holds.
9 The Clock's Ticking

The Opelio crab season is open and the hunt for crab is intensifying. Rumors of a possible closure prompt the men to push even harder. After many blank pots, Capt. Jim Stone of the Retriever decides to give up on the Northern fishing grounds.
10 The Final Run

With the deaths of the Big Valley crew, this Opelio crab season has been a rough one. As the last hours of the season tick down, a new race begins- the race back to port. Captains strategize and compete for the best spot in line to off-load.

About this show

One of the deadliest jobs in the world is that of the Alaskan crab fisherman. They brave the treacherous waves of the Bering Sea in search of valuable king crabs.

Let me tell you, it's a pretty good show and would be better if you didn't have anything to do with that spoiled no good so called ( and I mean no good capt, Jake little spoiled rotten death finder and the one that runs the wizard Keith, whom I'm wondering why he hasn't gotten people killed yet) they are the worst players on this show. I won't let my children watch it because of those two.

I would love to write a review but for some reason this season is not avialable on google or youtube in the uk. Please can anyone advise as I would really like to purchase this season to watch.

If I knew how to apply for a job doing it I would try it. I know it's dangerous but I'll be up for a challenge like that. Big ups to them guys tho, they do they thang.
