This is a review of the Remake and not the original series. It was s good series for the 1st few years. Then at about the "New Caprica" episodes it got completely stupid and unfollowable. Seems like they changed a lot of writers or they got really bored. Either way the storyline was pointless and made no sense. It seems like they didn't know how to end the series toward the end but they knew they had to. Like many TV series, it started out great and well it ended very very poorly.

While many people dismiss BSG as a Star Wars ripoff, (The two involve starships, and that's about it.) BSG only gets better with time. Star Wars has become a corpse picked clean by the corporate greed of first Lucas himself, and Disney after. If you love Sci-fi with heart and soul, you owe it to yourself to watch this (streams free on NBC)

I have been a fan since I saw reruns of BSG on Scifi as a kid and have been waiting to be able to see the original in its entirety. Wonderful series that no sci-fi fan should skip.
