Erica Myles, the finance director at Right To Action, a Republican super PAC, enlists the help of an escort, Anna Garner, in an attempt to gain access to a secret, dark money donor network.

Anna delivers a piece of incriminating evidence against Novak to Erica, who attempts to use it as leverage to gain access to Novak’s dark money donor network. Meanwhile, Erica’s and Anna’s relationship quickly moves from the professional to the personal. When Erica is invited to attend an exclusive meeting of powerful financiers in New York by a member of Novak’s network, she invites Anna as her date.

As a result of securing Novak’s donor list, Erica meets with one of Wall Street’s most powerful financiers, Steven Becker, potentially her biggest donor yet. Back in the DC area, Erica makes a deal with Maryland Attorney General Gregory Shaw to suppress damaging information on Senator McCord, one of Right To Action’s candidates. As Erica ramps up her fundraising, Novak looks for ways to exact revenge on both Erica and Anna. Meanwhile, Anna gives Erica a present she won’t forget. Yet a visit from Darya makes Erica reconsider her relationship priorities.

With the midterm elections approaching, Erica gets a suspicious call from a representative of a secretive wealthy financier, Eric Koscielny, requesting a meeting. Koscielny baits Erica to consider an illicit deal, with the promise of an enormous donation and a way to ensure the appearance of legality. Anna expresses her vulnerability to Erica and agrees to sexually subjugate herself to Erica’s desire for power, only for Erica to re-engage emotionally with Darya. Unaware of Erica’s re-involvement with Darya, Anna makes a startling decision to further deepen her relationship with Erica. Novak discovers some compromising information about Erica’s assistant, Sandra Fuchs.

Anna reveals to Erica that she purposefully became pregnant so that they could become a family and raise the child together. Erica rejects Anna, leaving her to suffer and deal with her pregnancy alone. Confident of covering her tracks, Erica accepts Koscielny’s deal and secures the largest donation to date for Right To Action. News of Maryland Attorney General Shaw’s deal with Erica is leaked to the press, drawing unwanted attention both to Right To Action and their candidates and prompting calls from local Democrats for an investigation. For the time being, Erica manages to push against the impending scandal and shores up support from her donor base.

As Anna copes with her break from Erica, she contacts Darya in search of answers. After meeting for lunch, Darya invites Anna back to her apartment in an attempt to seduce her and undermine Erica. Meanwhile, Erica’s personal and professional lives begin to unravel. Darya ends their brief reunion as Sandra covertly monitors Erica’s fundraising activities, on Novak’s behalf. Sandra discovers a piece of potentially devastating information that would incriminate Erica and leave Right to Action and their candidates open for attack.

With knowledge of the illegality of the Koscielny donation surfacing, Erica scrambles to find out the extent of her exposure as Novak leaks the information to the FBI. Meanwhile, Anna rids herself of Erica completely. She settles back into her professional life, at the top of her game.

Bria Jones, a former GFE, enters the witness protection program in order to escape an abusive relationship. After being uprooted from her lavish lifestyle, Bria and her estranged step-daughter are relocated to a small town in New Mexico where they are overseen by US Marshal, Ian Olsen. As the mundane reality of her new identity sets on her, Bria finds the GFE world beckoning her once again.

Eggshells

Bria expands the boundaries of the GFE when she brings Kayla along on a date with Paul. When Paul still refuses to have sex with Bria, she finds herself expanding her client base in order to meet her needs. Meanwhile, Ian continues to probe for the truth as the trial date looms.

Desperate to reign Bria in, Ian bugs her apartment and begins following her as she meets with clients. Bria is informed that Donald is no longer in police custody; Ian pledges to protect her as she fears for her safety.

Bria reveals everything to Paul in hopes of gaining his protection. When Paul rebuffs her, Bria begins to formulate a plan to find sanctuary by other means. Meanwhile, Kayla ditches school to meet up with her new boyfriend, only to be put on a collision-collision course with Bria’s new plan.

An out-of-control and unstable Ian forces Bria to prepare for her day in court. Handcuffed and blindfolded en route to the courthouse, Bria recalls her traumatic and criminal history with Donald as she prepares to face him head-on.

Pursued by both the law and Donald, Bria is forced to fend for herself. She manipulates one of her clients, Stuart, in order to take a final stand against her enemies.

“The Girlfriend Experience” explores the relationships between escorts and clients, for whom they provide far more than just sex. They are women who provide relationships at a high price.
