About this show

The iconic heroes and villains of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals left an enduring legacy of love and family in their wake, which continues in LEGACIES, a thrilling new drama that tells the story of the next generation of supernatural beings at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. It’s here that Klaus Mikaelson’s daughter, 17-year-old Hope Mikaelson; Alaric Saltzman’s twins, Lizzie and Josie Saltzman; and other young adults — including political scion MG and the mysterious Landon Kirby — come of age in the most unconventional way possible, nurtured to be their best selves…in spite of their worst impulses. LEGACIES blends humor, heart and horror, as teens with terrifying supernatural origins battle not only their demons within, but also the demons that endanger the world at large. Will these young witches, vampires and werewolves become the heroes they want to be — or the villains they were born to be?

I would like the show if it actually had episodes frequently thats why shows die out because their not consistent! Weeks in between new episodes can't hold the viewers attention instead of being like, "oh I used to watch that show! FYI it's a show with vampires! They never age but these actors look 5 yrs older in every episode! It takes forever and a day for a new episode to be released!

They need at least one new writer. The ultimate antagonist has been the same glorified mudmonster every season so far. Several episodes were painfully obvious filler content, serving as a time extension/buffer for writers who obviously have no ideas. They need to bring some old G's from Originals or even the Whedonverse to craft a compelling future for these characters.

It's not great. The acting is is terrible, if not mediocre. What I really don't like is the overuse of the different types of mythos as well as the change in atmosphere. Like TVD was mysterious and the Originals was gripping and brutal. This, just doesn't hold the same weight the previous shows did and still do (when rewatching). It's like TVD and TO was like prime time disney and Nickolodeon, whilst Legacies is living in a post-Dog-with-a-Blog era. I feel as if it needs a lot of work and more character to push the show where it belongs. It could aslo use some direction. The plot is pretty stereotypical. Yeah...I'll leave it at that.
