About this movie

A heartwarming comedy-adventure set in the modern mammal metropolis of Zootropolis: a melting pot where animals from every environment live together — a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But newly arrived Officer Judy Hopps discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with fast-talking scam-artist fox Nick Wilde to solve the mystery.

Saw this on a plane. Very watchable Disney film, and VERY good messages too. It was engaging - plenty of chases and intrigue to satisfy even adults. (I'm not a child) The characters are very real and complex, they have stories. I do think the end didn't quite get to the heights reached mid-movie, however I love Judy and Nick.

It's a good film for what it is but I watched this when it came out and I'm nearly positive it was called zootopia so much so that I've come here just to say that anyone else agree?

The eye candy is there, and the story is engrossing enough, although perhaps the third act is a little disconnected from what went before. But whilst it's not too laboured, the idea of intersectionality is well handled here. It seems to be something that a lot of people struggle with, and it's great to see a film that gets it. Good for adults, good for kids.
