Alex Winter and all have done a truly great job with this documentary. Heartfelt, Respectful and Thorough, it achieves a difficult task of putting into two hours the life of an American Legend. Frank Zappa was one of a kind. His music will live on and inspire generations to come. I liked how Frank said that Art is Art & Business is Business; He was so insightful and humorous. Excellent interviews and editing.. After seeing this documentary you'll feel as though you know Frank Zappa a little better whether you are a long time fan or new to his work either way; you'll be impressed and saddened too. Recommended Viewing. My rating is an: A

A touching tale of the life of Frank Zappa. Was a little disappointed that the making of overnight sensation was not even mentioned. Yes it was “strictly commercial” but again allowed Frank to compose more and do as he pleased. So tragic that he passed at such a young age. He left one hell of an oeuvre for us to enjoy for many lifetimes to come.
