About this movie

The stakes have never been higher; the rivalries never as fierce; the risks never so great. One wrong move, one card short, and it's game over for good. A decade in the making, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions features new designs and an all-new story from the original creator of the global phenomenon, Kazuki Takahashi. His masterful tale features anime's most beloved characters in their long-awaited return: Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba, and their faithful friends Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor Téa Gardner, and Bakura. It's the most highly anticipated re-YU-nion ever!

The story just sucks with this misguided villain Igami and no real development or resolution to his story at the end of it. Igami is just an abandoned vehicle after a joy ride. At least that's what it feels like. I'm also disappointed that Kaiba doesn't really duel anyone worth dueling outside of Yugi. The Kaiba vs Yugi duel was lackluster at best. The animation is good and you'll see some new cards but that's about all it has going for it.

Three things wrong with it. 1. Joey doesn't duel. 2. Make Duke Devlin look too much like girl. Finally, and maybe most importantly, at the end when Yugi beat Diva there was no audio so you couldn't hear what he did. Personally, 1 was the most important to me because I am a Joey fan through and through. I just wish I could give this 5 stars. Other than that the movie was fantastic, incredible, and all around nostalgic.

I like the movie. My main issue is that Joey wasn't up there dueling as well. Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey are the top duelers in the world and it would've been awesome to see the Big Three duel together again. And I wish I could've heard what Atem said. I grew up with Yu-Gi-Oh!
