I enjoyed the movie and the music. It got tough to watch him spiral out but I liked the final decisions leading to the ending. Himesh was a fantastic musician and I enjoyed his character. Lily did great as the "perfect woman". I honestly hated Kate McKinnon's acting (or rather over acting). She is great in comedy but this required a more subtle touch that she failed miserably. She ruined numerous scenes in the movie.

Almost a 5 star must watch movie. For the most part it is a beautiful, heartfelt, and cleverly written movie with a highly talented cast. Unfortunately all scenes with Kate McKinnon in it are painfully unbearable, cluttered with the worse writing and acting attempts that are 100% out of place. She really is the Jar Jar Binks of the film, just even less tolerable. In the end, what could have been an absolute must see, it's just an "okay" movie that should be very low on your to-watch list. Shame.

HORRIBLE in EVERY WAY! Let me preface by saying I am huge Beatles fan and this movie was clearly made by people who simply purchased the rights to the music and were not in any way associated with the band itself! The movie itself? A completely unlikeable, boring, no charisma lead who is a struggling musician and whom one day wakes up to a world where the Beatles never existed yet he's the only one who remembers them and their music. How or why this happens is unimportant! So unimportant it is NEVER EXPLAINED in the film at all! He then quickly realizes he can cash in and become the world's single greatest songwriter and so he does. The End. No payoff, repercussions, or even story. That's it! Absolutely complete and waste of time and more important legacy and music of the Beatles, so poorly handled here I half expected a zombie or bunch of heroin addicted teens to come in at last minute and make this movie entertaining!
