This flick appears to have been filmed over a three-day weekend with the change in the seat cushions. The first 45 minutes serve no purpose. Some of the time wasted in town would have been better used hinting at the presence of the monster. The howls are overused and the tracks should have been brought in earlier. The scene in the tent manages to build some decent suspense, too bad it didn't happen half an hour earlier.

It reminds me of the movie "Open Water" except instead of sharks the antagonists are sasquatches. All the "facts" are fairly accurate (if you're into Bigfoot lore). Also has some very eerie and suspenseful encounter scenes. Only gets three stars because I was disappointed with the ending where they finally and unfortunately only briefly show the creature. Over all, if you have ever daydrempt about bushwacking through the woods to find the elusive squatch I'd recommend this movie.

I should have taken Dramamine! I don't usually have a problem with handheld footage, but this was rough. And since I intentionally watch documentaries... The "slow burn" didn't bother me either. The banter was oddly entertaining... I felt like these two needed a reality check before hitting the wild. But overall the movie didn't draw any real response or strong opinion from me. The whole point of watching a movie is to feel something, good or bad, but please don't leave me indifferent.
