This has been RECOLORED. I love this movie, always have. Pre-ordered and watched the day it was out, and it brought me all the nostalgia and joy I could handle. However, I'm sure Lucas couldn't stand releasing a classic without doing some digital rework. Thankfully there's no singing aliens, but the color has been turned up to 10. Without the gray/blue color scheme, the world feels decidedly less like a "lost, broken" world and more like your average, vanilla fantasy. See it for yourself.

Willow is one of those movies we watched when we were growing up. This is quite possibly my favorite fantasy film of all time. Slow start but when Val Kilmer is finally introduced, the story really starts to take off. This will be a classic my family will enjoy just as much as I did. 5/5 stars for sure

I watched this in the theater when it came out and was enchanted by it when I was young. There are so many parts and pieces of this movie that are just fun to watch. It's pure popcorn action adventure along the same lines as Clash of the Titans. I forgot how much fun it was. The special effects are kinda dated, and more along the lines of the original Star Wars, with some film tricks / overlays but it never detracts from the story. I love the final battle - it's amazing from the actors that they kept a straight face. A great film.
