About this movie

Ned (Bryan Cranston), an overprotective dad, visits his daughter at Stanford where he meets his biggest nightmare: her well-meaning but socially awkward Silicon Valley billionaire boyfriend, Laird (James Franco). A rivalry develops and Ned's panic level goes through the roof when he finds himself lost in this glamorous high-tech world and learns Laird is about to pop the question.

Worst movie ever. Not funny....just all over-the-top sex stuff with no thoughtful humour. It's such a good idea that fell so flat on execution. It's hard to be funny now a days and this is the hard evidence of it. I feel like my IQ dropped from watching it. Save yourself and your money and learn from my mistake. I'm so sad because if this is the future of comedy I may never laugh again...well at least during a movie.

Why Bother? That should really be the title of this horrible attempt at humor. Not one bit funny and twenty minutes in I still haven't laughed. I will definitely not be watching this all the way through. Please don't waste your money or your time! The swearing is way over the Top as well. Horrible movie!
