Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton just seem to understand perfectly Martha and George, the miserable couple who desperately and unfortunately love each other so dearly. Most of Albee's writing is preserved and the chemistry between Burton and Taylor serves so well in the comedy and tragedy of this film. Great, great film.

Amazing honest relationship between a couple who hold firey grudges that keep them together. This is a night in the life for a very sheltered woman and her husband, who tries in vein to keep it all together. A classic must have for your lexicon.
