About this movie

Ready for "Stand by Me" or "The Goonies" with a deliciously dark twist? The horror begins as Ayla and her high-school friends discover a hideous, semi-human mutant. They keep it prisoner while shooting repulsive viral videos, but the gang's hunger for "likes" drives them to film the beast performing murderous acts. When one boy sees that Ayla is using the monster's gruesome violence to settle her own vendettas, he threatens to tell the authorities-but is he too late to save his friends?

It's not so bad I can see why most people in the comments would say "goonies" , but as someone who watches a lot of films (and currently in my 20s), this one did give me old summer camp movie night vibes , this movie has a target audience obviously, which would be like 14-20, it is a "b" film but you can tell they tried their best, the acting is not that bad either considering they are kids. Good movie to chill and pass the time. Story is not great but is good. 8/10🍿

Just couldn't stay in this movie. Acting was poor at best, the monster costume was visibly of low quality, and the general story was too broken and made no real sense. People dont really act this way. There was no connection to the children. It's clear the girl (dont even remember her name) comes from a broken home, but how can we really know? Saying the characters were two-dimensional would be giving the writers too much credit.

Dang good horror movie! Awesome cast you'll love to hate. I won't give detail or spoilers, so you'll just have to watch it and see for yourself. 😁 Great storyline, well written and directed.
