About this movie

To Jill Johnson (Camilla Belle, The Ballad of Jack and Rose), it was the perfect babysitting job. The parents were away. The fridge was stocked. The children were tucked into bed. But then the phone rings and an ominous voice asks, "Have you checked the children?" Locked in with the lights out and the curtains drawn, a panicky Jill phones the police, who trace the calls -- only to inform her they're coming from inside the house. And as the frightened teenager goes upstairs to check on the children, Jill's quiet night of babysitting is about to turn into a nerve-shattering nightmare of suspense, horror and dread. © 2006 Screen Gems, Inc. Honestly I really liked this movie because of the scenery involved. The main actress in it wasn’t bad, but I remember her from a Disney movie where she plays a surfer girl. Towards the middle of the 2000’s we had some good movies out that year. It’s sad how now a days the movies are so horrible. I wish Hollywood would give me money to produce a movie for $100,000 and I guarantee you I’ll have somthing bring you to the edge of your chairs. But hey maybe in my next life I’ll be able to produce movies.

This is an incredible movie, both in the sense of showcasing Camilla's skills as an actress, but also in how remarkably the script relies on showcasing its main actor. It provides a profound platform for her, which would not have been successful without her being talented. At the same time, the setting is beautiful, the supporting actors are talented, and not only well-played, but well thought-out from a written point of view. Also includes great camera angles, and an extremely accurate ending. 5 stars. Thinking.... Definitely 5 stars, in the least, to balance out the negative reviews. It really is a great film. I like the fact that you don't have a present or tangible villain throughout the whole movie. This film DID what it was created to do, and it did it well. I think a lot of people are disappointed because they wanted a different rendition of the story. Trying to think if there is anything I've would've done differently... probably wardrobe. Few changes here and there for some of the characters. But that's it. Lighting was very well-done. I really think this movie did what it was created to do.
