Wes Craven's New Nightmare

On par with the original movie while also twisting the formula into something new and exciting for the series. After the first hour the pacing is non stop with the story becoming relentlessly entertaining. I appreciate how they envisioned Freddy as they had to differentiate what the character had become to pop culture, which is remarked upon too. All in all this reminded me why I loved the series in the first place and continue to do so.

I have a great love for the nightmare on elm street films but this 1 ruined it! Freddies face looks rubber and he isnt even in the same costume which we know and love! Dont waste your money this film is terrible...

Enjoyable horror franchise, but I always thought Freddie had a bit of a campish sort of way about him. Nothing wrong with that by the way. Suppose there are worse things than that about him.
