About this movie

On the way to a heavy metal concert, Alexis (Alexandra Daddario) and two girlfriends hear a news report of a local murder believed to be tied to a series of satanic killings. After the show, the girls invite three guys to join them at the estate owned by Alexis's father, a fire-and-brimstone preacher (Johnny Knoxville). What starts as a party suddenly turns dark and deadly in this devilishly entertaining thriller.

An entertaining horror film with a bit of comedy. Based in the eighties, they didn't go crazy with nostalgia. Two eighties pop songs were used and placed perfectly in the film.

This Film was very entertaining and had excellent acting from the male and female cast. I'm sure there was a fair amount of work put into this film. So it's worth a look if you haven't checked it out already. P.S- Loved the ending by the way.

This was very close to watching a tale of truly vengeful spirits, at times the characters seemed imbibed as if through arcane soulfulness. This was a clever embodiment of artless demonization and everything it becomes. A very novel trip down a classical avenue. The way in which the windless scenes suddenly shifted, like God had held its breath for Satan as the sentient beings heaved against the others and their mortal ties, very enthralling. I must say while it's not a preordained event according to the plot, it seems schematically orchestrated and every piece of it seems outwardly focused, as if the characters called to summon the darkness.
