About this movie

We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists, takes us inside the world of Anonymous, the radical "hacktivist" collective that has redefined civil disobedience for the digital age. The film explores early hacktivist groups like Cult of the Dead Cow and Electronic Disturbance Theater, then moves to Anonymous' raucous beginnings on the website 4chan. The documentary traces Anonymous' evolution from merry pranksters to a full-blown movement with a global reach, the most transformative civil disobedience of our time. A FilmBuff Presentation.

Usually when I hear about Anonymous I hear about them exposing the hidden truth. This show however seems to give the impression that they are cyber terrorists. While their actions may technically be illegal, the information they expose in my opinion is a far worse crime. However, with today's identity theft problems, which I still believe is rooted somewhere within the companies, I would have to vote for whoever can actually put a stop to it. Anyone who is to afraid to be themselves needs to just.. Opt out.

Waited and waited for them to show their faces. But the truth still remains. Anyone can hide behind a screen and they aren't the smartest world wide it only took little ol me to find out they aren't very smart.
