I did not think it possible. Finally, someone had the nerve to tackle a supers film set smack bang in the punk era politics, with chrome age supers as they should be: flawed, broken things. Wonderfully detailed and, in some ways, superior to the original source material. Dark, unforgiving, and satirical. For fans of comics, or those interested in the age of rebellion, this movie his the spot.

Hands down one of THE best movies Zack Snyder has done for a DC movie. This movie was made before its time. Too many people compare it with newer super movies, news flash honey. This isn't your ordinary super movie. This is about supers with real lives and you get to see and understand it all in this film. Good choice in actors and actresses in my opinion. This movie has a good story if you follow it along. It's one of those movies you have to watch again to FULLY immerse yourself into this film

I have read the comics and the trade paperback edition and regard it as the story that puts the writer Alan Moore in the same niche as Philip K Dick and Roger Zelazny as one of the greatest sci/fantasy creators of the past century
