War for the Planet of the Apes

This movie had no right being anywhere near this good it being the finale in a rebooted trilogy. The visuals were flawless and always matched the emotions being portrayed by the film. The score, though falling flat at points, made certain scenes strike home no matter how predictable they were, listen to "exodus wounds". The story was quite predictable at times but in this new environment and film style, it gets a pass.

Not sure how this got 93% on RT. CGI is average at best (not sure how a large ape mounts a horse with absolutely 0 disturbance to horse or saddle), too many scenes trying to elicit emotion but failing despite emotional music coming on strong😂. Should be called 'Bore for the planet of the apes'

It was good but.... the story was sort of weird and the characters acted outright stupid. And most of everyone we were introduced to died withing 15 to 30 minutes of the movie and the movie producers killing of most of the family is pretty sad. But overall it was a good movie that I enjoyed watching
