About this movie

From the award-winning creators of Fireproof and Courageous comes War Room, a compelling drama with humor and heart that explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, friendships, and every other area of our lives. Tony and Elizabeth Jordan have it all – great jobs, a beautiful daughter, and their dream house. But appearances can be deceiving. Tony and Elizabeth Jordan’s world is actually crumbling under the strain of a failing marriage. While Tony basks in his professional success and flirts with temptation, Elizabeth resigns herself to increasing bitterness. But their lives take an unexpected turn when Elizabeth meets her newest client, Miss Clara, and is challenged to establish a “war room” and a battle plan of prayer for her family. As Elizabeth tries to fight for her family, Tony’s hidden struggles come to light. Tony must decide if he will make amends to his family and prove Miss Clara’s wisdom that victories don’t come by accident.

I guess I was kind of surprised by this movie. With all the hype I expected it to be bigger and better than their others ones. I was also surprised by the single storyline. That's fine, because it is a good one, I was just expecting one like Courageous and other new top Christian movies that have intertwined plots. The point of the story, prayer and forgiveness, are phenomenal and come across well. It was unrealistic how the man suddenly returned and was instantly good. Overall great movie.

as someone who has gone through a bad marriage and divorce, this movie makes it look like the easiest thing ever. the overall message is good and true, but the writing is made for Friday night youth group. I never once felt the pain of the lead characters in this movie. also, I can't for the life of me figure out why the knife robber scene is in this movie? it made no sense and had absolutely nothing to do with the story. I wish these movies were more angled towards unbelievers

This is a heretical movie promoting a new ager, false Christian, Beth Moore. Women cannot be preachers. That is Biblical. And everything she promotes goes against the Bible. Beware of her. She's working with satan.
