About this movie

I quite enjoyed this "Mary Reilly"-esque take on the classic Mary Shelley novella. Solid performances by the key players yet the characters weren't fully developed, making the assumption of prior knowledge a little too evident. A balanced blend of drama and action, leaving me rather satisfied. It's a shame this was just missing a chromosome or two.

An enjoyable movie. It's a slightly different take on the original story with Hollywood action style. Doesn't deserve some of the nasty reviews it has received.

Not that I don't think jazzing up an old classic isn't good, but don't fix something that aint broke. I prefer the 1993 rendition of Frankenstein. I didn't like this movie one bit.
