Sony's inability to stick to Marvel Canon is the worst part of their films. The second worst part is the awkward acting, poorly chosen actors and badly written scripts. And to top off this dung sandwich of awful decision making, the visual flair. Venom looks like a late 90s computer generated character. We have had videogames from the Xbox 360 era with more convincing graphics than this movie has (the last of us, Halo 4, to drive my point home). This movie was hard to watch.

Too rushed. Dumb movie really. Just another Marvel movie that feels cookie cutter and nothing truly enjoyable or inspired. Actually made me want to refund my money for how bad it was. If you have a brain and like thinking movies that use it, I'd stay away from this soulless cash grab take on what could have been a truly good IP brought to life.

Horrible! I was soooooo disappointed in this movie. I am a huge Marvel fan and there are very few Marvel shows or movies I dislike, but I would not watch this again to save my life. I barely got through the movie as it was. I watched it with others on Thanksgiving and the general consensus was it was incredibly bad. So at least I know I'm not crazy. Complete waste of talent.
