About this movie

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL'S greatest and most complex characters. In search of his next big story, journalist Eddie Brock lands an exclusive interview with convicted murderer and death row inmate Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), who discovers Eddie's secret and becomes the host for Carnage, a menacing and terrifying symbiote. Eddie and Venom must get past their contentious relationship and work together to defeat Carnage. Directed by Andy Serkis (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle), the film also stars Michelle Williams, and Naomie Harris as Shriek.

Abysmal. Andy Serkis should stay as an actor not director if this is the quality of film he chooses to direct. The producers are well known for making bad comic book movies despite their many years in the business. Tom and Woody deserved so much more to showcase their talents. Avoid if you genuinely know and like these characters and pretend this movie doesn't exist.

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FILM. I'm an avid Venom & Carnage fan. Read almost all the story archs. Love the symbiotes as a whole. And this is quite possibly the worst thing that's ever happened to me. No disrespect to Tom Hardy or Woody Harrelson as they did they best they could with the abysmal script they were given and are otherwise incredible actors. But this is a tragic adaptation and Sony need to suffer for this 😢
