Van Helsing

Ridiculous but fun! Horror lite for kiddies, if you've got any, ideal around Hallowe'en. For Jackman fans, he rips his shirt open and screams a bit near the end, and when that thing happens to him, he could totally star in a hair product commercial. The soundtrack is excellent; I just didn't recall much about the movie so am glad to have the curiosity sated. I'm pretty strict with my star ratings: 2 doesn't necessarily mean I disliked it; it was watchable with a fair amount of tension and a strong female character; a little heavy handed with the CGI and I won't be buying it or desire to watch it again, but not bad for what it is.

Personally I liked the movie, I thought it was fun. It could have been better, but still an cool movie. The ending did let me down a bit though,which was sad.

An amusing SciFi/gothic fantasy film full of terrible over acting. It is fun and shouldn't offend even the most sensitive of cats!
