Valley of the Lanterns

Olistene has been crafting the valley’s celebratory paper lanterns every year, since her grandfather taught her how. Although the New Year’s celebration is fast approaching, and her shaking sickness gets worse by the day, she still doesn’t want to apprentice her own young grandson Porter. Desperately, she sees an ancient stone gateway, and a whispered legend, as her only chance to keep from becoming “A useless old lady”. When the legend turns out to be true, and the entire valley is forced to relive the same year over and over again, Olistene has to make the choice of her lifetime to accept her own future, or to allow no one else to have one!
