About this movie

Winner of two Academy Awards, including Best Animated Feature. Carl Fredrickson, a retired balloon salesman, is part rascal, part dreamer who is ready for his last chance at high-flying excitement. Tying thousands of balloons to his house, Carl sets off to the lost world of his childhood dreams. Unbeknownst to Carl, Russell, an overeager 8-year old Wildnerness Explorer who has never ventured beyond his backyard, is in the wrong place at the wrong time -- Carl's front porch! The world's most unlikely duo reach new heights and meets fantastic friends like Dug, a dog with a special collar that allows him to speak, and Kevin, the rare 13-foot tall flightless bird. Stuck together in the wilds of the jungle, Carl realizes that sometimes life's biggest adventures aren't the ones you set out for.

Anyway, UP has undeniability become a part of Pixar, Disney and maybe even MOVIE history. The plot is OK, predictable characters are you're typical Guy hates someone, but then starts to like him and then you've got the setting, I could swear the setting and back story is the only reason why this movie is even FAMOUS, the thought of a flying house now THAT'S cool (Learn from this Derek Savage) but when you're movie is only FAMOUS because of ONE thing, it's definitely a failure.

Adventure viewing for young and old. Very young children may find some parts a little scary. If unsure watch first, it is fun to repeat watch.

Around $20 to $25 for a movie download ,sounds a bit rich for me, when you can buy most of these movie's on dvd for well under $10.
