I've always enjoyed Weird Al's music, from the Dr. Demento days to his recent drubbings of pop culture. This movie, while completely absurd, does well in carrying over his ridiculous sense of humor to film. He's actually not a terrible actor, at least when put in the role of (basically) himself. The supporting cast is terribly silly as well, there's some great original tunes from Al, and it serves as a nice feel-good 80s movie in some ways.

This is probably my favorite movie of all time. Weird Al was awesome in his only movie. I think my favorite parts of UHF were teaching poodles how to fly, the Wheel of Fish and Spatula City. I watch this movie at least twice a year and have owned several copies. If you haven't seen this movie please do so. Or I am going to have to club this baby seal to make a better deal. Why? Because I'm crazy!

As a kid, I was so excited to get to see this. Everything was depicted add it should have been. Drinking from the fire hose, catching bullets from guns that shoot casings too, and Ghandi eats meat and gets even! Too bad none of my TVs would tune to UHF stations, I had to stick with bowling for plain money. Dr. D even makes an appearance. Please check this out if you have ever enjoyed any of Weird Al's parodies.
