About this movie

Gathered together in the Bahamas for their annual one-week reunion, four close couples eagerly reconnect, sharing news about their lives and relationships. But their intimate week in paradise is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Sheila's ex-husband, Mike, who hopes to break up her new marriage with Troy and win her back. The others soon realize they too are not immune to the challenges of commitment and fidelity. Angela doesn't believe her husband, Marcus, can be faithful now that he's a celebrity television newscaster. Dianne and Terry's relationship is feeling the strain of raising children. And Patricia, a successful self-help psychologist, must finally reveal the deep flaws in her seemingly perfect marriage to Gavin. With their relationships hanging in the balance when they return home, each couple must choose between blame and forgiveness, doubt and faith, with life-altering consequences...

Tyler Perry's character was controlling, manipulating and abusive. Demanding his wife becomes a baby making machine. Using her love to get what his bullying ass wants. Never peaceful characters, always at each others throats.

I loved the first movie and usually the second movie falls short, but not with this movie. Great from start to finish, shows comedy mixed with relationship complexities mixed with tragedy... Even my husband really liked it, and my teenage son, too! Tyler Perry is on a role, but sprinkle in a white couple/character or two... which is why my dad won't watch his movies. Keep up the great work.

The second part of Why Did I Get Married? the best favorite movie as the first one based on the stage play. I love watching all the Tyler Perry films and plays especially the ones feature whose to relate the same type of problems there is between home or somewhere else either its your family members or the people who never treated you as yourself regularly. Everyone deserves to be love, treated with respect and care about them 24/7 neither you're rich or poor, smart or above, quick or slow, you got to be the best whatever you can bring is to have faith and patience.
