About this movie

Charlize Theron is hilarious, (Time Out) in the new comedy from Academy Award-nominated director Jason Reitman (2007, Best Director, Juno) and Academy Awar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (2007, Best Original Screenplay, Juno). Tully tells the story of Marlo (Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, 2003, Best Actress, Monster), a mother of three who is gifted a night nanny by her brother (Mark Duplass). Hesitant to the extravagance at first, she forms a unique bond with the thoughtful, unpredictable, young nanny, Tully (Mackenzie Davis).

If you’re expecting something along the lines of Bad Teacher or Young Adult (as I did), take a hard left and avoid this movie. Not funny, not dark, just a waste of 90 mins. Whoever gets my $4.99 please do good with it and never make such shite movies again.

This movie was ,eh, ok but some moments made me cringe. I don't see how anyone could call this a comedy, I don't think I laughed once. I actually thought most of this movie was quite sad. Like I said, it was alright but I probably wouldn't watch it a second time.

AVOID THIS CLUNKER. Don't waste your time and money It's a slow moving, pathetic movie! The characters are two dimensional. The plot is boring. The screenplay rates an F, and the direction doesn't even rate that.
