About this movie

It is said that Halloween is the night when the dead rise to walk among us and other unspeakable things roam free. The rituals of All Hallows Eve were devised to protect us from their evil mischief, and one small town is about to be taught a terrifying lesson that some traditions are best not forgotten. Nothing is what it seems when a suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight; four women cross paths with a costumed stalker at a local festival; a group of pranksters goes too far and discovers the horrifying truth buried in a local legend; and a cantankerous old hermit is visited by a strange trick-or-treater with a few bones to pick. Costumes and candy, ghouls and goblins, monsters and mayhem...the tricks and treats of Halloween turn deadly as strange creatures of every varietyhuman and otherwisetry to survive the scariest night of the year. For a film to be based on the iconic, creepy festivity that is Halloween, it must live up to the expectations of Halloween. This did not. It had potential yet lacked direction and purpose with a poor attempt to blend several 'scary' story line's together, all of them failing to scare and blend. Cheesy and a waste of time in my opinion.

Brilliant film. Seen this before it is seriously under rated i suggest anyone who loves the "Halloween" festive sesson to appral to this film in repect of the film makers who go out there way to please the public for a good scare

This movie is so underrated it should be criminal. The plot, effects, scares and entire set up of the film is pretty darn amazing. Right up there with the classics to become one itself. Great peice of artwork and an amazingly linked and well structured anthology.
