About this movie

Since she was a little girl, Amy (Amy Schumer) has been taught that monogamy isn't realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo, enjoying an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment. But when she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of a new article she's writing, a charming and successful sports doctor (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be onto something. From Judd Apatow (Bridesmaids, Superbad), Trainwreck UNRATED is "howlingly funny." (Rolling Stone) (Original Title - Trainwreck (Unrated)) - 2015 Universal Studios. All Rights Reserved.

The movie was less than a comedy. It wasn't funny, had no drama and was not romantic. I was surprised Cena played the role he did. My wife and I wasted our time watching this as long as we did making it almost to the end before I had to shut it off. The profanity was used so poorly as if they were kids on a playground trying to act older. I ended up buying Expendables 3 after the wife went to be and enjoyed it..

Heartbreaking how cold this is. Unlike other films where the shallow main character is someone who comes to the end of themselves and we have sympathy, compassion and empathy for them, this lady remains a pointless piece of crap from beginning to end. The narcissism is so deep that this film ends with a celebration of idiotic navel gazing. What a shameful and wicked lady with no want of true change. And yes, you can have all of that in a comedy. This one betrays all those precious points in spades. Pitiful.

The fam was happily anticipating seeing this movie, so sure it would be great that they bought it before seeing it. Normally the family rule is movies get seen before being purchased. Turns out it's a good rule, as this movie was *truly* a trainwreck. Boring characters, script, plot - everything. I could not list one redeeming scene. Truly dreadful.
