To the Wonder

i kept waiting for some type of flow to this movie; kept trying to understand the point of it all. Yes, there is magnificent footage, wonderful visions of Paris and the farmlands of the mid west but, you never get the meaning of Ben Affleck's character. What he is, does, is lost. It (sadly) reminded me of a bad love story that got lost; too bad because the possibilities were there.

Those not familiar with Terence Malick and his body of work need to be more patient or stay away. From the comments I have observed about his movies thus far, it is clear that so many people need to know much more about the directors and their style before diving into their movies.

Only a film buff's buff and a mystic would appreciate this film. AKA me.
